Entry to Employment
Alder Training’s Entry to Employment (E2E) training programme is helping learners to develop essential skills and prepare them for the needs of the workplace. Ashley Cummins is the latest in a long line of young people to have progressed from this training programme into the workplace and onto an Apprenticeship programme.
Ashley started on an E2E programme with Alder Training this year with the twin aims of improving her confidence and increasing her motivation to learn. A personal training plan was drawn up and agreed between Ashley and the training team to help her achieve her goals. Ashley's plan focussed on three main elements to help her progress:
Personal & Social Skills
Vocational Skills
Basic & Key Skills
Through the support she received from the team at Alder Training and the effort she put into the programme, Ashley is now reaping the rewards. Ashley is now on an Apprenticeship programme earning £80 per week, has already achieved a Key Skills qualification and is earning rave reviews from her work placement.
