Investor's in People Review

On 5th December 2006, Alder Training had an Investor’s in People post recognition review. This review proved to be highly successful and we were advised that we had met the new, more rigorous standard.

This was particularly pleasing news as the Company has undergone a period of rapid growth and change of Senior management in recent months. Alder Training has now been re-recognised 3 times since the original standard was met in 1997.

Investor’s in People is recognised as the leading national quality standard for improving an organisations performance through its people.

At the feedback meeting and in the subsequent report, our assessor highlighted several areas of our Company as strengths including:

	Business Planning
	Employee Responsibility & Ownership of Roles
	Continuous Improvement & Change

In addition to these strengths we do have areas that we need to develop and these are highlighted in the report. We will look at addressing these areas for development at our regular HR and SMT meetings.

Our updated plate and certificate have arrived and are in reception at Alder House. Plates will also be on display in our offices in Southport and Lowerson Road.
