Free or Subsidised Training for the Workforce

We have a range of free or subsidised NVQ and Apprenticeship training currently available from Alder Training.

The free or subsidised training is available to certain age groups who meet the eligibility criteria for the funding we receive, which comes directly from the Learning + Skills Council. In practice, however, this will mean that most of your workforce who have not achieved a level 3 or higher will be eligible for free or subsidised NVQ / Apprenticeship training.

In summary, available training includes:

16-24 Year Olds

Apprenticeships & Advanced Apprenticeships are currently funded in full by the LSC and therefore free to employers

25+ Age Group

	NVQ 2 training for people who have not already achieved a level 2 qualification is fully funded by the LSC and therefore free to employers
	NVQ 3 training for people who have not already achieved a level 2 qualification is fully funded by the LSC and therefore free to employers.
	NVQ 3 training for all other people is subsidised by the Learning + Skills Council but the employer must make a contribution to the costs of the training.

Prices for training for people who fall outside of the eligibility criteria can be negotiated.
