Childcare - Advanced Apprenticeship (Childcare)
Content
The Childcare Advanced Apprenticeship is a training and education programme for employed staff which combines vocational experience with a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), Technical Certificate and Key Skills, and is a recognised qualification within childcare settings.
The programme covers children from birth to 16 years and includes such topics as:
Developing and promoting positive relationships
Promoting children’s development
Protecting and promoting children’s rights
Reflecting and developing practice
Delivery
The programme will be delivered over a 20 - 24 month period and will be a mixture of teaching and training both in the work place and at training sessions at Alder Training (including night classes) delivered by Alder Training’s experienced and professional training managers.
Achievement
Upon successful completion of this programme you will achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship in Children’s Care, Learning and Development which will qualify you to Supervisory / Management status and assist you progress further with your career.
