Childcare - NVQ 2 (Childcare)

The NVQ 2 in Children's Care, Learning & Development provides training to work with children from birth to 16 years and includes such topics as:

	Keeping children safe
	Supporting children’s development
	Supporting children’s play and learning
	Supporting routines for children
	Encouraging children’s positive behaviour

Following achievement of the programme you will be able to progress into further learning opportunities (NVQ 3, Advanced Apprenticeship, Further Education or Higher Education) and will be encouraged and supported to do so. There are a number of different employment opportunities which Childcare can qualify you for:
