External Recognition & Awards

We are inspected by a variety of organisations to ensure we are providing high quality training.

Inspections and quality standards include:

We were inspected by a team of 8 Ofsted inspectors in December 2010. The inspectors spoke to many learners, employers, partners and staff. They observed training sessions, learner progress reviews, interviews and inductions. They looked through our files. They crunched through our data. At the end of the week, they came up with their judgements which resulted in us being awarded with a grade of good!

Training Quality Standard (TQS)

The Training Quality Standard recognises and celebrates the best organisations delivering training to employers.

The Standard highlights high quality, high impact training, by looking at the organisation's responsiveness, flexibility, expertise and commitment to continuous improvement. The Standard is a mark for training providers to aspire to because it's tough to achieve - and through it, their performance is what really sets them apart from the competition.

Alder Training achieved this award in December 2009 - and is still the only provider in the area to have reached this standard.

The Matrix Quality Standard is the National Quality Standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.

Alder Training achieved this standard in November 2009, for our external work with learners and employers and our internal staff support.
